Description

You will design, develop, and maintain advanced software solutions using C++ for BIM and 3D modeling use cases, working with complex geometric data and building information structures. The role focuses on optimizing functionality and improving application performance, scalability, and reliability. You’ll collaborate with architects, engineers, and the software development team through technical discussions and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced software solutions using C++

• Develop and optimize BIM- and 3D-modeling-related functionalities

• Work with complex geometric data, 3D models, and building information structures

• Improve application performance, scalability, and reliability

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and software development teams

• Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize existing solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial C++ development experience

• Hands-on experience with BIM technologies (mandatory)

• Practical experience with 3D modeling and geometric data processing (mandatory)

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, algorithms, and data structures

• Experience developing complex desktop or engineering applications

• Knowledge of software architecture, performance optimization, and debugging

• English at C1 level (mandatory)

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Nice to Have

• Experience with BIM standards and formats such as IFC

• Knowledge of Open CASCADE, CAD kernels, or computational geometry libraries

• Experience with Autodesk Revit, Archicad, or similar BIM platforms

• Familiarity with Qt or other C++ application frameworks

• Experience in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction) industry
