Description

Serve as an Emergency Medicine physician on a locum tenens assignment focused on non-trauma emergency care, providing full-spectrum emergency stabilization. The schedule is 4–6 shifts per month, mainly nights, with 12-hour coverage and APP support on-site during peak hours. The department sees approximately 30–40 patients per 24 hours with an annual volume of 14,000 visits.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency stabilization for a broad range of acute presentations
• Manage patient care during 12-hour ED shifts
• Coordinate with on-site APP support (12 pm–10 pm)

Requirements

• 3–5 years post-residency Emergency Medicine experience
• Full-spectrum emergency stabilization skills
• Ability to cover scheduled 12-hour shifts (primarily nights)
• Capacity to manage an estimated 30–40 patients per 24 hours
