Electrophysiologist (EP) - Locum Tenens

Quick Facts

• Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8 am–5 pm — 3 procedure days and 2 clinic days per week

• Volume: 18–25 patients per shift; ~15 patients seen per 24 hours on call

• Coverage: Both inpatient and outpatient required — admissions required

• Call: EP call 1:3 — Sat–Sun, 7 am–7 am

• Procedures required: Cardiac ablations, permanent pacemaker placement, AICD/ICD

• Duration: 2–3 weeks per month; at least 1 full week per month considered

• Status: Ongoing assignment, starting soon

Description

This locum tenens assignment is for an electrophysiologist to provide EP procedures and clinic care with both inpatient and outpatient coverage, including admissions, plus EP call on a 1:3 schedule. Housing, travel, credentialing, and comprehensive malpractice coverage are handled for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrophysiology care across inpatient and outpatient settings

• Perform cardiac ablations

• Perform permanent pacemaker placement and AICD/ICD procedures

• Cover EP call duties, including patient admissions
