Description

Locum tenens anesthesia coverage is needed for a Monday–Friday schedule with possible call. You will deliver general, spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia for obstetrical, neurosurgical, thoracic, complex vascular (no open heart), and complex orthopedic cases. The assignment also includes post-operative pain management and interventional procedures such as lumbar/cervical epidural steroid injections and lumbar/cervical transforaminal procedures.

Requirements

  • Ability to provide general, spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia

  • Experience with obstetrical and neurosurgical cases

  • Experience with thoracic, complex vascular (no open heart), and complex orthopedic cases

  • Ability to perform post-op epidural and extremity blocks

  • Ability to perform epidural steroid injections (lumbar and cervical)

  • Ability to perform transforaminal procedures (lumbar and cervical)
