Description

You will contribute to delivering and operating middleware solutions for large-scale distributed systems such as Kubernetes/OpenShift, Kafka, and A-MQ. The role includes deploying containerized business applications using automation and GitOps approaches (e.g., Argo, Ansible), and supporting infrastructure and security troubleshooting across development, test, simulation, and production.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain large Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters for multiple environments (dev to production) hosted in cloud (Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure)

• Design, document, and perform knowledge transfer on GitOps operating models for infrastructure and applications

• Support and investigate infrastructure and security issues across all environments and managed platforms

• Design, develop, and deploy automated solutions on Kubernetes/OpenShift

Requirements

• Completed university degree in computer science or relevant IT work experience

• At least 1 year of experience in IT development or IT system administration

• Linux experience; able to write Bash scripts; troubleshoot basic networking issues; diagnose problems related to PKI (TLS and certificates)

• Experience using Ansible for automation

• Background with at least one cloud provider (Azure or GCP)

• Ability to use AI tools for development activities (Copilot)

• Willingness to learn and openness to new technologies and IT trends

• Ability to work in a multi-national, multi-disciplinary team

• Proficiency in written and spoken English
