Description

You will act as a management partner to actively find ways to earn more, reduce costs, increase margins, and use company capital more efficiently. Responsibilities include detailed analysis of costs and purchasing inputs, product/customer/market margin tracking, identifying low or negative profitability, and proposing changes to pricing, procurement conditions, product mix, and cost structure. You will manage P&L, cash flow, budgets, forecasts, financial models, and create management dashboards and KPIs for fast decisions.

Responsibilities

• Increase net and operating profit; perform inventory and conduct a warehouse audit
• Analyze company costs and identify optimization opportunities
• Analyze purchase prices for products, raw materials, packaging, transportation, and other inputs
• Collaborate with procurement to reduce purchase prices and improve supplier commercial terms
• Regularly analyze margins by products, categories, customers, and markets
• Identify products or activities with low or negative profitability
• Propose changes to prices, purchasing conditions, product mix, and cost structure
• Control operational and overhead costs by department
• Prepare and manage P&L, cash flow, budgets, forecasts, and financial models
• Create management dashboards and KPIs to support accurate, quick decision-making
• Analyze plan vs. actual variances and propose corrective actions
• Evaluate ROI for marketing, investments, new products, and other projects
• Track working capital, inventory, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and capital efficiency
• Collaborate directly with owners and top management on strategic decisions
• Build a culture where decisions are driven by profit, margins, and return—not only revenue

Requirements

• Strong analytical and financial thinking
• Entrepreneurial mindset (not purely accounting)
• Ability to work with large amounts of data and find profit opportunities
• Ability to go into detail to determine why costs or margins are not optimal
• Communication and negotiation ability with other departments and suppliers
• Willingness to challenge the current company operating approach
• Results orientation with ability to translate analysis into concrete measures
• Experience in financial management, controlling, FP&A, or a comparable senior finance position
• Excellent Excel / Google Sheets skills
• BI tools, ERP, or reporting automation experience is a big advantage
• Experience from FMCG, distribution, retail, manufacturing, or fast-growing companies is an advantage
