Description

You will design and build Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce solutions with a focus on the integration layer connecting the shop to ERP, PIM, OMS, WMS, payments, and logistics. This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you lead technical decisions, guide other developers, and work with stakeholders on discovery and requirements. You will also keep platforms healthy across performance, scalability, security, observability, and operational cost.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce solutions (custom modules and extensions; catalog, checkout, pricing, and promotion logic)
• Own the integration layer using synchronous APIs and asynchronous queue/event-based flows for ERP/PIM/OMS/WMS, payment and shipping providers, and marketplaces
• Run technical discovery with client stakeholders and explain trade-offs in business terms
• Lead technical delivery: architecture decisions, code reviews, estimations, release planning, and upgrade/patching strategy
• Maintain platform health: performance, scalability, security, observability, and cost of running the shop
• Mentor developers and help build Magento/composable delivery standards
• Support pre-sales: scoping, estimates, and technical input to proposals

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience building and operating Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce eCommerce applications in production
• Strong PHP 8 backend skills and deep Magento internals knowledge (module architecture, dependency injection, plugins/observers, service contracts, indexers, message queues)
• Proven end-to-end integrations between Magento and backend systems (ERP/PIM/OMS/WMS/payments/logistics), with at least two integrations delivered end-to-end
• Knowledge of Magento REST and GraphQL APIs; able to design resilient integrations (retries, idempotency, monitoring, reconciliation)
• Comfort with Magento infrastructure and supporting tools: MariaDB/MySQL, Redis/Valkey, OpenSearch, Varnish, RabbitMQ, Docker, CI/CD
• Experience as the go-to technical person (estimations, code review, technical decisions, mentoring)
• Strong interpersonal skills for client collaboration
• Fluent English (C1) and Polish
• Legal right to work in the EU
