Description

Design, build, and improve reliable, accessible, and user-friendly web applications. You will translate product requirements and UX designs into high-quality frontend features, integrate with backend APIs, and own features end-to-end from refinement through testing and release.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive, maintainable, user-focused frontend features
• Translate product requirements, UX designs, and acceptance criteria into software
• Build reusable components and keep frontend code clean and well-structured
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services and APIs
• Implement loading, validation, error, and empty states
• Write and maintain automated tests (unit, component, integration, end-to-end)
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend engineering standards
• Ensure consistent behavior across supported browsers and devices
• Apply accessibility standards and support performance improvements
• Investigate frontend defects and production issues with root-cause resolution
• Support backlog refinement, estimation, sprint planning, and release activities
• Communicate technical debt, reliability risks, blockers, and improvement opportunities
• Collaborate across Product, Design, Backend, QA, and DevOps; share knowledge via documentation and discussions

Requirements

• Professional experience developing modern web applications
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript
• Hands-on React and Redux Toolkit experience
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and browser fundamentals
• Experience building reusable components and maintainable frontend applications
• Experience integrating with RESTful or GraphQL APIs (or equivalent)
• Understanding of client-side state management and asynchronous behavior
• Experience with automated frontend testing including Playwright
• Understanding of unit, component, integration, and end-to-end testing approaches
• Familiarity with modern frontend build tools and package management
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows/code reviews
• Understanding of clean code, modularity, maintainability, and separation of concerns
• Awareness of accessibility (frontend), performance, and secure frontend practices
• Ability to diagnose frontend issues using browser and development tools
• Ability to independently deliver moderately complex frontend functionality
• Good communication skills and cross-functional collaboration
• Proactive risk/issue identification and improvement mindset
