Description

In a resident capacity and within practice restrictions, you will provide direct psychiatric patient care. You will review patients’ medical histories, collect and synthesize comprehensive clinical data, and coordinate care recommendations. You will provide education, consultation, and interventions for patients and families while working with a multidisciplinary team and charting electronically.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as a resident within scope
• Review medical history and synthesize clinical information
• Evaluate, interpret, and coordinate information to guide care decisions
• Educate, consult, and intervene with treatment plans for patients and families
• Collaborate with patients to improve health and well-being
• Work as part of the care delivery team efficiently using available resources
• Chart in electronic format in accordance with permit, licensure, and scope
• Actively participate in multidisciplinary case management
• May participate in on-call rotation
• Use quality improvement tools; may participate in peer review and quality assurance
