Description

The Department of Neurological Sciences seeks to recruit a physician for an evolving General-Comprehensive Neurology program. This position is primarily clinical at the hospital, providing care to general neurology referrals from the community and some specialists, with attending staff privileges. Teaching opportunities will be available as the site develops as a graduate medical education location.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for general neurology referrals (community and some specialists)
• Participate in a clinically integrated neurology network supporting North Country of Upstate New York
• Contribute to education through teaching opportunities as they become available
• Support academic contributions through research and/or service

Requirements

• MD or DO
• American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology board eligible/certified
• Fellowship training in a clinical neurology discipline desired (not required)
• Submit a cover letter describing how you will contribute to diversity and excellence through research, teaching, and/or service
