Description

You’ll support a major relaunch that includes a facelift, CMS change, and website fusion. You will implement functional and design requirements, oversee external development work, and ensure code quality, architecture compliance, and reliable software delivery. You will also advise leadership, editorial, and marketing teams on technical topics.

Responsibilities

  • Technically accompany a comprehensive relaunch (facelift, CMS migration, website fusion)

  • Independently implement functional and design requirements; proactively contribute expertise

  • Provide technical oversight of external development agencies

  • Perform code reviews and validate software quality and architectural guidelines

  • Advise colleagues from management, editorial, and marketing

  • Consolidate technical requirements from multiple business areas with an eye on feasibility and efficiency

Requirements

  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS

  • Strong programming knowledge in JavaScript and ideally Python (preferred)

  • Ideally knowledge of Dart and Flutter plus understanding of website and optionally iOS/Android app architecture

  • Basic knowledge of CMS administration and ongoing development

  • Ideally 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in web development or a comparable role

  • Ideally experience with cloud computing on AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform

  • Confident use of AI models/coding agents and automation (e.g., Zapier)

  • Understanding of the opportunities and limits of AI-assisted development, with strong focus on quality and data security

  • Very strong communication skills in German and English and strong teamwork ability

  • Ability to consolidate and work on requirements from different user groups and project teams, including via a ticketing system
