Description

Lead independent medical strategy and stakeholder engagement for vaccines within an assigned territory. Maintain deep therapeutic area/product knowledge and use it to deliver compliant scientific communication, educational content, and patient-care improvements. Serve as a medical conduit between external medical stakeholder insights and Pfizer Medical Information while supporting field execution including advisory boards, inbound triage, and non-interventional studies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute medical strategy and engagement for external medical stakeholders within a territory

• Provide therapeutic area/product information and respond to unsolicited medical requests per compliance guidance

• Develop and execute field medical tactics aligned to Medical Affairs priorities

• Deliver approved medical content and educate on clinical and economic impact using real-world and pharmacoeconomic analyses

• Provide objective, scientifically supported medical information via pharmacoeconomic models, outcomes tools, HOPEs, non-interventional studies, and collaborations

• Lead Medical account plans for assigned stakeholders; represent Medical Affairs and identify collaboration opportunities

• Engage healthcare ecosystem stakeholders (e.g., QIOs, advocacy groups, coalitions) to understand population health priorities

• Collaborate with internal teams (KAMs, Account Directors, PHI, Headquarters Medical, HEOR, Field Medical) on data and outcomes needs

• Lead advisory boards with manager oversight

• Manage field inbound queries using established triage processes

• Support ISR process and partner with R&D/GPD to identify sites for Pfizer-sponsored trials, including under-represented populations

• Apply study design, methodology, data analysis, and interpretation in scientific discussions

• Provide asset leadership and serve on cross-functional medical/TA/asset committees as needed

• Mentor onboarding partner, advisory board, and study leads

Requirements

• MD or DO degree required

• 4+ years of relevant experience required

• Proven ability to influence, collaborate with peers, coach, and lead others

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Strong interpersonal skills, including handling conflict constructively

• Ability to prioritize and manage a significant volume of remote projects with sound judgment

• Experience working in matrixed, multi-disciplinary teams

• Ability to adapt and lead through change in an evolving external healthcare environment

• Self-starter with accountability and urgency for medical impact

• Ability to rapidly adopt and use new digital technology and record medical interactions

• Valid U.S. driver’s license and driving record compliant with company standards; no DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within the past 7 years

• Permanent U.S. work authorization; U.S. visa sponsorship not available
