Description

You will build and maintain back-end systems, including legacy PHP applications and APIs developed with Lumen/Laravel. The role focuses on designing and implementing new functionality with unit and integration tests, optimizing production performance, and integrating systems and APIs. You will also contribute to continuous integration, code reviews, and collaboration on technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create efficient, scalable, stable back-end software

• Maintain and develop back-end applications, including legacy systems built on PHP and custom frameworks

• Develop APIs using Lumen/Laravel

• Design and implement new features with unit and integration tests

• Prepare technical documentation

• Diagnose issues and optimize production systems

• Work with PostgreSQL (procedures, functions, queries, and data structures)

• Refactor and modernize existing back-end applications

• Integrate systems, applications, and APIs

• Participate in software delivery optimization (Continuous Integration and quality assurance)

• Take part in code review

• Work according to Git-flow

• Estimate work and support planning of future projects

• Work in Scrum ceremonies (Daily, Refinement, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Retrospective)

• Collaborate on selecting technologies and technical solutions

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of back-end development experience

• Very good knowledge of PHP 5.x/7.x/8.x

• Experience with legacy code and custom frameworks

• Knowledge of Lumen/Laravel

• Good knowledge of Linux/UNIX systems

• Experience with PostgreSQL, including stored procedures and functions

• Ability to set up and work with CI/CD using GitLab

• Very good knowledge of Git

• Experience debugging and analyzing existing code
