Description

Design, develop, and maintain desktop applications written in React using JavaScript and TypeScript with the OpenFin framework. You’ll support the bank’s fixed income business by building frontends for systems used in capital markets product workflows—this is a core product role, not legacy support. The team collaborates across North America and Europe, with onboarding overlap during US Eastern business hours.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain React desktop applications (JavaScript/TypeScript) with OpenFin

• Ensure high performance and reliability through well-structured code

• Integrate with backend systems via REST APIs and data streaming (ability to read backend Java code is a plus)

• Participate in architectural discussions to improve scalability and maintainability

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience with React and JavaScript/TypeScript

• Fixed income trading knowledge; ideally RFQ execution model experience

• Ability to follow and clearly explain non-trivial systems

• Humility to ask questions where necessary

• Open-mindedness and strong desire to learn new technologies and business domains

• Ability to align working schedule with US Eastern business hours during onboarding

• English proficiency

• Poland residency only (Polish citizens and legal residents with work permission)
