Description

Build high-quality data systems and solve complex technical issues using modern technologies. The role centers on ETL/ELT development, orchestration of data pipelines, and large-scale data transformation, including root-cause analysis in live production environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows
• Orchestrate pipelines with tools such as Airflow, Astronomer, and/or DBT Cloud
• Ingest data via REST APIs; perform transformations and data load/unload
• Query and transform large datasets in Snowflake
• Support production systems through problem-solving and root-cause analysis
• Ensure data quality with data validation practices

Requirements

• 2+ years of Python experience, including strong knowledge of data libraries (e.g., pandas, multiprocessing, Google Cloud SDK)
• 2+ years of ETL/ELT experience (REST API, GraphQL, DBT, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with data pipeline orchestration (e.g., Airflow, Astronomer, DBT Cloud)
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Problem-solving and root-cause analysis experience in live production systems
• Experience querying and transforming large volumes of data
• Data quality and data validation experience
• SQL experience (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, BigQuery, Snowflake)
• Comfort working with serialized data formats (JSON, Avro, XML, CSV)
• Comfort with compressed and encoded files
• Comfort ingesting data using REST APIs, data transformations, and data loading/unloading
• English proficiency sufficient for an international environment
