Description

You will join SAP Platform Operations to help keep SAP platforms secure, available, and running smoothly. Under senior guidance, you will operate and monitor SAP systems, resolve standard SAP Basis incidents/service requests, and assist with system maintenance. You’ll also contribute to automation and documentation while developing toward a selected SAP Basis technology domain.

Role description

• Operate and monitor SAP systems (SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP BTP)

• Resolve standard incidents, service requests, and routine SAP Basis changes

• Support maintenance activities: patching, kernel and support package updates, client copies, transports

• Contribute to automation, task standardization, and documentation of operational procedures

• Develop skills toward a chosen domain: SAP HANA, hyperscaler cloud platforms, SAP BTP, security/compliance, or AI-assisted operations

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience with SAP Basis or SAP system administration

• Basic understanding of SAP HANA (or other databases such as Oracle or MS SQL) and Linux administration (SUSE or Red Hat); Windows Server knowledge is a plus

• Working knowledge of ITIL processes and ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA); awareness of SAP Cloud ALM or SAP Solution Manager is an advantage

• Interest in cloud fundamentals (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and in scripting/automation

• Willingness and ability to develop technical skills long term and obtain certifications

• Very good written and spoken English

• University degree (Bc. and above) is nice to have
