Description

You will develop and maintain automated QA test suites for a platform that supports asset health assessment, operational risk analysis, and maintenance/investment planning. The work includes functional and automated testing across API, UI, integrations, and performance, plus defect analysis and root cause investigations. You will collaborate early with developers to ensure testability and reduce production defects.

Responsibilities

  • Define test objectives, test scenarios, and test cases

  • Execute functional and automated tests across different layers of the application

  • Develop and maintain automated test suites

  • Test APIs, user interfaces, system integrations, and application performance

  • Perform defect analysis and root cause analysis

  • Work closely with developers from early in the development lifecycle to ensure testability

  • Help identify, analyze, and resolve product issues

  • Ensure quality and stability of delivered functionality

  • Support reducing defects escaping into production

  • Verify integrations with external systems via REST APIs and messaging interfaces

  • Maintain high-quality documentation for defects, test scenarios, and QA processes

  • Continuously improve QA processes and automated testing practices

Requirements

  • Senior-level commercial experience in software testing and test automation

  • Practical programming experience with Java

  • Strong commercial experience with Selenium

  • Strong understanding of QA best practices, testing methodologies, and testing processes

  • Experience creating and maintaining automated test suites

  • Experience with API, UI, integration, and performance testing

  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases

  • Experience with Git and version control workflows

  • Experience with CI/CD tools and automated test execution

  • Experience with Zephyr Scale and/or Azure DevOps

  • Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and independently investigate software defects

  • Good written and spoken English

  • Fluent Polish communication skills

Nice to have

  • Experience with Appium

  • Experience with Flutter-based applications

  • Experience testing hybrid or mobile applications

  • Experience with complex enterprise integrations and REST APIs

  • Experience in asset management, industrial systems, utilities, or critical infrastructure domains
