Description

You will design, develop, and maintain infrastructure for client and internal projects, while shaping DevOps standards and the technical direction. The role emphasizes security, stability, costs, and long-term maintainability, and includes automation, CI/CD, monitoring, incident handling, and operational documentation. You will also coordinate cross-project DevOps topics and support key technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain client and internal infrastructures
• Automate administrative and deployment processes; develop Infrastructure as Code
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines
• Work with Ubuntu, Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, DigitalOcean, and Cloudflare (managing 300+ hosts in Cloudflare)
• Configure monitoring, logging, alerting, and diagnose production incidents
• Ensure security, backups, certificates, availability, and service stability
• Analyze infrastructure costs and recommend improvements
• Develop technical standards and coordinate topics across multiple projects/teams
• Consult with other DevOps engineers, developers, QA, Project Managers, and clients
• Document solutions, support knowledge sharing, and communicate risks and recommendations
• Participate in weekly on-call rotations after the implementation period

Requirements

• Very strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and production environment administration experience
• Strong Docker knowledge with experience in Docker Swarm or Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of CI/CD processes, preferably GitLab CI
• Ability to automate tasks using Ansible, Terraform, Bash, or Python
• Practical knowledge of at least one cloud provider (DigitalOcean, GCP, AWS, Azure, or Akamai Linode)
• Networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, proxy, load balancing, firewalls
• Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and resolving production incidents
• Knowledge of security best practices: backups, certificates, IAM, hardening
• Polish and English communication skills for smooth project collaboration
