Description

You will design the architecture and integration of 3D vehicle visualizations for Android Automotive (AAOS) IVI and digital-cockpit platforms. The work includes binding 3D vehicle models (e.g., Unreal Engine or comparable tools) to real-time vehicle signals for vehicle settings, parking, and ICE/EV features. You will lead technical analysis and solution design, collaborating with customers and stakeholders through integration, testing, and series readiness.

Responsibilities

• Architecture and integration of 3D vehicle visualizations into Android Automotive systems
• Connect 3D models to real-time vehicle signals (doors, windows, seats, lighting, HVAC, charging, driving modes, and parking)
• Define interfaces between vehicle data, middleware, Android applications, and HMI
• Provide technical leadership: requirements analysis, solution design, and stakeholder alignment
• Support integration, testing, and series maturity of HMI solutions

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Multi-year experience in Automotive HMI, Android Automotive (AAOS), IVI, or Digital Cockpit
• Programming experience in C++ and Kotlin and/or Java
• Practical experience with Unreal Engine, or alternatively Unity, Kanzi, or similar 3D technologies
• Knowledge of integrating vehicle signals, state machines, and real-time visualizations
• Solid understanding of vehicle settings, parking, vehicle functions, and ICE/EV topics (charging, SOC/range, comfort, diagnostics)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• German language skills at C1 level or higher (mandatory)
