Description

Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions supporting the customer’s GEOINT mission. You will build and maintain secure, containerized applications and contribute across the full software lifecycle in an Agile, DevSecOps environment. Work includes RESTful APIs, user-facing interfaces, and collaboration with mission users and product stakeholders to refine requirements and improve UX.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in agile sprints (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)

  • Build and maintain secure, containerized applications (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AWS)

  • Develop RESTful APIs and modern user interfaces (e.g., React, Node.js, Flask, Spring Boot)

  • Collaborate with mission users and product managers to refine requirements

  • Support DevSecOps pipelines and meet security and accreditation standards

  • Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers

  • Resolve team-prioritized tasks assigned by the product owner

Requirements

  • US citizenship required

  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with ability to pass a polygraph

  • Bachelor’s in CS/Software Engineering/related with 4–8 years relevant experience, or Master’s with 2–6 years relevant experience

  • Strong proficiency with: HTML, CSS, JSON, Ajax, REST APIs

  • Proficiency with: Python or Java or JavaScript

  • Advanced programming experience with: Go

  • Experience with frameworks: React/Angular/Vue.js/jQuery/Spring Boot/Django/Node.js/Flask/Svelte

  • Cloud development: AWS or Azure (or similar)

  • Relational databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server

  • Operating systems: Windows or Linux

  • Version control: Git

  • Experience architecting, developing, and delivering complex systems into production

  • CI/CD experience: GitLab CI and/or Jenkins; agile tools like JIRA and Confluence

  • Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS C2S/GovCloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and accreditation processes (RMF, STIGs)

  • Strong self-motivated learning mindset
