Description

Backend Kotlin Engineer (Freelance) for a long-term project starting around mid-July 2026. You will work on backend development using Kotlin in an event-driven setup with Kubernetes and Kafka, supporting CI/CD and DevOps collaboration for backend and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services in Kotlin

• Build and support event-driven systems using Kafka

• Collaborate on Kubernetes-based operations

• Work with CI/CD pipelines for backend and mobile applications

• Participate in DevOps collaboration, code reviews, and team quality practices

Requirements

• Strong written and spoken English

• Must be located in the European Union

• Kotlin
