Description

Maintain and improve cloud environments and deployment processes with a strong emphasis on CI/CD automation and operational reliability. Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve infrastructure and workflows. Work directly with a German client, using German for communication and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance cloud environments and deployment processes

• Implement and improve CI/CD automation

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure and reliability issues

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve infrastructure and workflows

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional IT experience

• 7+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering

• Strong practical experience with Terraform

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

• Scripting proficiency in Python and Bash

• Hands-on containerization and orchestration experience (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)

• Experience with observability, monitoring, and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, OpenTelemetry, Datadog, New Relic)

• Familiarity with developer tools and middleware integration

• Strong problem-solving and collaborative mindset

• Understanding of DevOps methodologies and Agile environments

• Strong Linux system skills and networking fundamentals

• German fluency (C1+) and English proficiency (B2+)
