Description

Serve as a trusted advisor to assess data environments, identify governance gaps, and implement data governance and metadata management strategies using Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog. Lead onboarding for business glossary creation and user adoption, and ensure integration of Informatica solutions with platforms such as Databricks and AWS. Provide consultative guidance on governance and metadata best practices, and deliver upskilling workshops to drive enterprise-wide adoption.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of existing data environments to identify governance gaps and improvement areas

• Define and implement data governance frameworks and metadata management strategies using Informatica Cloud

• Drive onboarding for Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (business glossary creation and user adoption)

• Ensure successful integration of Informatica solutions across platforms such as Databricks and AWS

• Develop roadmaps for onboarding multiple data products into the governance solution

• Provide consultative guidance on data quality, metadata strategies, and governance best practices

• Deliver upskilling sessions and workshops for teams and stakeholders

• Collaborate with engineering and platform teams on technical configurations and implementation

• Use automation and available AI solutions to enhance governance workflows and accelerate delivery

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in data governance or data consulting roles

• Strong proficiency in Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog implementation

• Knowledge of metadata management and data quality practices in enterprise environments

• Understanding of Databricks and AWS ecosystem integrations

• Experience defining governance frameworks and strategies for large-scale platforms

• Strong consultative skills for advising business and technical stakeholders

• Excellent communication and facilitation skills for workshops and training sessions
