Platform Engineer (HealthTech)

Junior • Hybrid • On-site

70,000 - 120,000 CZK/yr

Prague, Czech Republic

Quick Facts

  • Full-time role in an AI-native, digital-first healthcare group building internal tools and infrastructure
  • First full-time technical hire; you decide what to build and ship
  • Focus on platform/data engineering rather than customer-facing product, pure data science, or long-horizon architecture

Description

Build an agentic system to identify relevant companies and consolidate scattered profiles into a single queryable database with screening. Automate collection of monthly numbers and updates from portfolio companies, and develop the shared software infrastructure the portfolio needs. You will also eliminate busywork by automating CRM hygiene, outreach sequences, self-assembling deal files, and first-draft LP reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Create an agentic company identification and screening system
  • Build a queryable database that unifies company profiles from multiple countries, formats, and systems without APIs
  • Implement automated monthly data collection and updates from portfolio companies
  • Develop and operate shared infrastructure used across portfolio companies
  • Automate internal workflows (CRM hygiene, outreach sequences, deal file assembly, LP reporting drafts)

Requirements

  • 2–4 years building systems others depended on (platform/data/solutions engineering, technical co-founder, or system-owning developer)
  • Hands-on problem solver who prefers building over documentation and can work without a playbook
  • Daily proficiency with Python and SQL
  • Experience integrating via APIs and scrapers and handling messy public data (e.g., spreadsheets)
  • AI-native engineering approach; comfortable with agent-based development
  • Ability to judge what is worth building and when an automation impacts business outcomes
  • Security-aware mindset for confidential portfolio data in healthcare

Benefits

  • Close collaboration in a small, high-caliber team with constant feedback and little bureaucracy
  • Ownership of the system from early stages (no legacy systems, no ticket queue)
  • Opportunity to build the stack that powers the portfolio and potentially move into an executive role
  • Direct exposure to the full investment process from the inside
