• Focus: Build and improve a cloud data platform from source systems through Snowflake, including pipelines, integrations, monitoring, and data quality

Description

You will be responsible for the end-to-end data platform—from source systems to Snowflake—and help evolve it. The job includes implementing the data warehouse data model, developing and managing pipelines in Keboola, integrating systems across the holding, and ensuring reliability (monitoring, alerting, performance). You will also support analytics, reporting, and AI use cases by integrating data and automating data quality tests and controls.

Responsibilities

• Own the data platform from source systems to Snowflake
• Implement the data warehouse data model
• Develop and administer data pipelines in Keboola
• Integrate systems across the holding (CRM, ERP, hotel systems, marketing platforms, loyalty programs, and more)
• Ensure data platform reliability, monitoring, alerting, and performance
• Provide data integrations for analytics, reporting, and AI solutions
• Collaborate with the data analyst and AI engineer on new use cases
• Introduce automated tests and data quality checks
• Document data flows and technical solutions
• Automate repetitive tasks using modern AI tools
• Propose improvements to simplify, speed up, or reduce costs

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in data engineering
• Experience operating a cloud data warehouse in a production environment
• Strong SQL knowledge and ability to design data transformations
• Experience with Snowflake or a similar technology (BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift)
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (Keboola, dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, etc.)
• Python experience for integrations, automation, and working with APIs
• Knowledge of data modeling, DWH layers, and data historization
• Experience with Git and basic CI/CD principles
• Ability to independently design solutions and deliver them to production
• Active use of AI tools during development and automation
