Description

Drive the evolution of selected domains’ system, integration, and data architecture. Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable solution designs across applications, integration, data, and infrastructure. Maintain architecture standards and documentation while supporting lifecycle management through modernization and complexity reduction.

Responsibilities

• Own the system, integration, and data architecture for selected IT domains, including defining and evolving the target vision and roadmap

• Convert requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable solution designs for applications, integration, data, and infrastructure

• Create and maintain architecture documentation (e.g., solution blueprints) and system/integration/data flow diagrams

• Develop and apply IT architecture standards for systems, integration, and data, considering security, compliance, and performance requirements

• Manage the lifecycle of key applications and platforms, including modernization, replacement, and complexity reduction

• Work closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and engineering teams to provide technical consulting and decision support

• Coordinate with the BPM team to align process and system architecture

• Ensure transparency across the system landscape, interfaces, and data flows, and consolidate them proactively

• Coach and promote best practices in architecture, modularization, and automation

Requirements

• Completed IT education or degree with an IT focus

• Several years of experience as a Solution Architect, System Architect, or Lead Engineer in an enterprise environment

• Strong knowledge of complex IT landscapes, integration, and cloud or hybrid platforms

• Experience with architecture and modeling approaches and producing clear architecture documentation

• Analytical strength, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills

• Excellent English and German skills
