Description

You will support reporting and data consumption needs using experience with Guidewire Insurance Suite components such as PolicyCenter, Data Hub, and InfoCenter. The role focuses on gathering analytics/reporting requirements, analyzing legacy data with SQL, and mapping data elements to Guidewire Raw tables and cloud ODS data layers so downstream consumers can access the required information.

Responsibilities

• Gather detailed functional and non-functional requirements for analytics, reporting, and data feeds.

• Advise on data integration approaches/options and facilitate selection of a solution.

• Analyze and profile legacy system data using SQL to understand data models and relationships.

• Translate requirements into technical design specifications.

• For cloud data feeds/data layers, map required data elements to Guidewire Raw tables (from prebuilt 1000+ tables).

• Identify gaps and develop specifications to fill them.

• Map data consumption requirements to ODS capabilities and develop data model specifications.

• Coordinate with technical BAs, technical leads, and architects to ensure timely development completion.

• Guide downstream consumers by providing database queries and documenting data model relationships.

• Support testing by guiding test scenario development and assisting with defect analysis and timely resolution for data flowing into ODS data layers.
