Description

You will help build and test a core component of a new credit-operations ecosystem responsible for credit handling processes. The role includes test management (reviewing cases and existing automation), designing functional/regression/integration scenarios, and running manual and automated tests for microservices communicating asynchronously via events and queues. You will also validate business and process logic using SQL and ensure high-quality defect reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review existing test cases and automation; manage test coverage
• Create test scenarios and cases (functional, regression, integration)
• Execute manual and automated tests
• Design, build, and maintain automated tests for microservices in an event-driven architecture (queues, messaging)
• Test REST APIs
• Report and document defects
• Use SQL to work with test data and validate business/process logic in complex systems

Requirements

• 4–5+ years experience as a Tester/QA Engineer, including at least 2 years as Senior
• Experience testing distributed systems and integrations between services
• Practical experience with asynchronous/event-driven systems (queues, messaging)
• Automated testing experience (UI/API/e2e)
• Experience with DDD-based projects
• Very good knowledge of: C#, .NET 10, xUnit, Reqnroll, Cypress, Playwright, TestContainers, Postman/Apidog
• Practical experience with GitLab or GitHub Actions (creating/modifying pipelines, integrating tests)
• Experience with Git (branches, merge requests)
• Knowledge of Jira + Xray (test management, planning/designing, reporting, traceability)
• Knowledge of Grafana (dashboards and alerts for key metrics like throughput, error rate, async processing delays)
• SQL experience (PostgreSQL)
