Description

Design, build, and operate reusable cloud provider patterns and platform capabilities that serve as the single entry point for engineering teams. You will contribute to a Python REST API contract layer, implement Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Pulumi), automate CI/CD with GitHub Actions, and support production with an on-call rotation. AI-enabled development practices are integrated into day-to-day engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve reusable cloud provider patterns using Infrastructure-as-Code
• Contribute to the REST API contract layer (Python/FastAPI) for onboarding that is reproducible, auditable, and observable
• Build and maintain CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions (reusable workflows, OIDC authentication, composite actions, shared release patterns)
• Work with consumer and supplier teams on integration patterns and discovery sessions
• Track and communicate platform adoption metrics across teams
• Use AI tooling in development workflows and contribute to internal AI-enabled practices
• Participate in a weekly on-call rotation for incident response and root-cause analysis
• Create documentation: onboarding guides, runbooks, and ADRs

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software, DevOps, or platform engineering; at least 2+ years with cloud platforms, infrastructure, or developer tooling
• Hands-on Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Pulumi, Terraform, Bicep, or CDK)
• CI/CD pipeline design experience, including GitHub Actions (or equivalent)
• Container and Kubernetes basics plus observability practices
• REST API development in Python (FastAPI or Flask), including OpenAPI documentation, authentication, and production-grade error handling
• Azure fundamentals including Landing Zone patterns, identity, and secret management
• Security-focused engineering mindset: least-privilege IAM, secret rotation, auditability, dependency hygiene
• Strong written English; ability to work in async-first, distributed teams
• Senior ownership demonstrated through at least two areas: end-to-end production ownership, leading cross-team initiatives/migrations/root-cause, mentoring, or building reusable platform patterns adopted beyond one team
