Description

You will support a banking client with data warehouse and reporting changes. The work includes translating user needs into DWH/reporting requirements, defining the target data model, and establishing source-to-target mappings. You will also build and test a SQL prototype, support the developer during implementation, and verify the final solution.

Responsibilities

• Gather user requirements and map them to the data warehouse or reporting layer
• Define the target data model for the requested analytical change
• Identify data sources and specify source-to-target mappings
• Create and test a prototype for the relevant area using SQL (in a provided template)
• Support the developer implementing the change
• Test the completed solution
• Coordinate tasks related to the introduced change

Requirements

• Knowledge of data warehouses; experience working with data warehouse environments
• Very good SQL knowledge (any technology)
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with data as an analyst
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data modeling and data warehouse process work
• High English proficiency in writing and speaking (at least B2)
• Willingness to develop competencies and share knowledge within the team
• Analytical thinking and ability to work with documentation
• Good work organization, with attention to quality and deadlines
