• Role: Cloud Platform Developer (Azure focused)

Description

You will support the Azure platform team by developing and operating key platform services such as Landing Zones, Azure Policy, and Log Analytics. You will implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and Bicep for deployment and configuration, and work with service owners to turn internal IT requirements into backlog items. You will own both Dev and Ops activities, including troubleshooting complex issues and producing detailed RCA documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and operate central Azure platform services (e.g., Landing Zones, Azure Policy, Log Analytics)
• Create Infrastructure-as-Code in Terraform and Bicep for deployment and configuration
• Analyze requirements with service owners and derive backlog items for internal IT customers
• Own both development (Dev) and operations (Ops) for the platform services you manage
• Troubleshoot and debug complex problems; identify root causes and document detailed RCAs

Requirements

• Completed degree in (business) informatics or IT training with relevant professional experience
• Experience in planning and implementing cloud services
• In-depth knowledge of public clouds (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Knowledge of cloud computing with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform
• Experience developing with Terraform and Bicep
• Experience with landing zone deployment, management groups, Azure Policy, Log Analytics Workspace, service health alerts, and self-hosted DevOps agents
• Strong understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD)
• Good German and English skills; Polish is an advantage
• AZ-900 and AZ-204 certification; AZ-400 is an advantage
