Description

You’ll build a versioned, real-time-capable, multi-user 3D building editor in the browser that reconstructs buildings from cadastral LOD2 data, floor plans, and facade photos. The system uses a purpose-built geometry and computer vision engine, connected to a Node/NestJS + PostgreSQL backend and a React + Three.js (WebGL) UI. The team is AI-first and expects you to use agentic tooling to ship real features—while rigorously reviewing and verifying AI output.

Responsibilities

• Extend the 3D/CAD editor with new element types (windows/openings, rooms, zones, HVAC), multi-storey support, and richer editing tools
• Build out real-time multi-user collaboration
• Improve and verify the geometry engine and the IFC/CAD exporters (reconstruction quality, normalization, export fidelity)
• Own features end-to-end: Postgres schema → NestJS domain → REST/WS API → React/Three.js UI

Requirements

• Fluency with AI-assisted / agentic development and the discipline to review and verify AI-generated output
• Strong 3D graphics engineering with Three.js / WebGL, including scene/camera/projection math, raycasting/picking, and render-loop performance
• Fluency in React + TypeScript
• Backend competence in Node/TypeScript + relational SQL using NestJS (or similar) and PostgreSQL, with transactions and concurrency
• Mathematical & geometric literacy
• Product-minded ownership of under-documented, reverse-engineered problem spaces
• German language skills C1+
