Description

You’ll complete a hands-on apprenticeship focused on installing, configuring, and connecting networked information systems, and on designing IT systems by linking hardware and software. During the program you’ll gain specialized knowledge through seminars in SAP, Microsoft, and Linux, with intensive customer contact in IT system support and project planning. After graduation, you’ll have options to start in system administration, networking, or DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure networked information systems

• Design and implement IT systems by connecting hardware and software

• Support IT systems with customer contact

• Participate in project planning and execution

Requirements

• General Higher Education Entrance Qualification or a good subject-related Fachhochschulreife

• Passion for internet, servers, and databases

• Very good German and good English skills (written and spoken)

• Preferred: first experiences with Linux/Unix or Windows-based PC systems

• Strong communication skills and comfort with customer interaction
