Description

You will implement innovative software features in close collaboration with product managers and align with other IT teams (e.g., Frontend). You will help optimize IT processes using analysis and KPIs, support the new development and enhancement of travel-related IT systems, and work with generative AI tools to automate development tasks and explain code.

Responsibilities

• Implement innovative features with input from product managers and your own ideas

• Coordinate with other IT teams (e.g., Frontend)

• Analyze the current state, define KPIs, identify optimization opportunities, and implement improvements

• Contribute to new development and further development of travel-specific IT systems such as booking platforms

• Analyze and prepare information for use in IT systems

• Use generative AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor AI, JetBrains Junie) to automate development and develop new features, and to explain code clearly

• Participate in an agile developer team, including code reviews and pair programming

Requirements

• Ongoing studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable field with excellent grades

• Very good knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Go, Java, PHP, C#, Python, TypeScript)

• High willingness to learn and motivation to continuously learn and apply new technologies and languages

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Hands-on mindset, enjoyment of development, and strong communication and teamwork skills

• Fluent German and English skills
