Description

The Identity & Access Management team builds the systems that control who can access and what users can do across product dashboards, APIs, and customer data. You’ll partner with a product manager to co-create the roadmap and drive delivery of granular access control capabilities, including SSO/SCIM coverage and service account scoping. The role emphasizes reliability and security posture, production monitoring, and working with security/compliance during audits.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the PM to assess customer needs, co-create the roadmap, and own delivery

  • Balance large investments with a steady cadence of customer requests

  • Guide architectural and technical design for the evolving granular access control framework

  • Hire and onboard engineers; coach them and evolve team norms and delivery cadence

  • Monitor SLOs and SLAs and take timely action to meet reliability goals

  • Work with security and compliance partners on reviews, audits, and customer commitments

Requirements

  • Empathy for customers and engineers

  • Strong product sense combining technical and product perspective

  • Familiarity with enterprise software expectations for access control, authentication, and auditability

  • Ability to shape how the team operates and interfaces with dependent engineering teams

  • Ability to partner with a PM to define and execute on a roadmap with trade-offs, customer commitments, compliance requirements, and product strategy

  • Technical depth to assess risk in design reviews and evaluate critical code paths and trade-offs

  • Direct experience managing engineers (growth, accountability)

  • Background partnering with recruiting to hire, close, and retain engineers and build diverse, inclusive teams

  • Experience building platform capabilities adopted by other engineering teams and managing dependencies across product and infrastructure

Benefits

  • Salary range: $175,400.00 - $283,800.00 per year (base; sales roles may include commission target)
