Description

You’ll provide high-quality, patient-focused vision care by performing comprehensive eye exams and contact lens evaluations, using modern digital exam lanes and EMR tools for precision and streamlined visits. You’ll prescribe eyewear, contacts, and eye health solutions tailored to each patient, educate patients on options, and diagnose and treat vision conditions while maintaining accurate medical records. You’ll collaborate with the store team to deliver a best-in-class patient experience and support clinical growth at your location.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and contact lens evaluations per established clinical protocols and standards of care
• Prescribe eyewear and contact lenses; educate patients on their options
• Diagnose and treat vision conditions, including refractive error, and perform ocular health assessments
• Use modern digital exam lanes and EMR tools to streamline care and ensure accuracy
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of examinations and treatments in compliance with regulatory standards and practice protocols
• Maintain state licensure in good standing and meet Continuing Education/State requirements
• Partner with the store team to create an exceptional patient experience and grow eye exam business at your location
• Share eye care knowledge with the team and serve as a visible, engaged clinical presence/brand ambassador
• Support key performance goals by delivering excellent clinical care
• Perform other tasks as needed to provide an exceptional patient experience

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry licensed in the state where you practice; license in good standing
• Maintain state licensure in good standing and meet Continuing Education/State requirements
• Not on the Office of Inspector General LEIE list and otherwise not excluded, debarred, precluded, or sanctioned from participation in government health care programs or commercial insurance plans
