Description

As a Senior SAP EWM Functional Consultant, you will provide third-level functional expertise for SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), supporting production environments and resolving complex, business-critical issues. You will work with ABAP developers, SAP Basis specialists, and support teams to maintain operational excellence, system stability, and mission-critical warehouse operations.

Project Scope

• Provide L3 functional support for SAP EWM production issues and complex incidents.
• Resolve high-complexity break-fix issues and small to medium change requests.
• Perform root-cause analysis across SAP EWM processes and system integrations.
• Collaborate with a dedicated ABAP L3 consultant to resolve technically complex issues.
• Support platform stabilization and operational continuity.
• Advise internal SAP EWM teams on solution design and SAP best practices.
• Support testing, validation, and deployment of fixes and enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with SAP standards and operational guidelines.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including SAP Basis and Level 1.5 Helpdesk.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the SAP EWM support environment.

Competence Demands

• Extensive hands-on experience with SAP EWM in productive enterprise environments.
• Strong functional knowledge of inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes.
• Strong knowledge of the RF Framework.
• Experience with SAP EWM integrations, including SAP ERP/S/4HANA, interfaces, and queues.
• Previous AMS or production-support experience.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving complex production issues.
• Experience collaborating with ABAP, SAP Basis, and support teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure operational support environment.
• Fluent English.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise SAP landscapes.
• Knowledge of warehouse automation processes.
• Experience in SAP EWM implementation or migration projects.
• SAP EWM certification.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and service-management practices.
