Description

You will develop and maintain desktop tooling used to build and support control software for mobile work machines. The role focuses on extending an existing .NET/WPF desktop tool, implementing new product functions for a diverse customer base, and contributing to architecture and technical process improvements. You will also analyze complex problems and support integration/communication with embedded control units and hardware-adjacent systems.

Responsibilities

  • Further develop and maintain a comprehensive desktop tool based on .NET and WPF

  • Design and implement new functions for a product with heterogeneous customers and users

  • Analyze complex issues and develop/test sustainable solutions

  • Contribute to architectural decisions and to technical and methodological evolution

  • Collaborate with other developers, product management, and subject-matter teams

  • Support international customers with technical questions

  • Integrate and enable communication with embedded control devices and hardware-near systems

Requirements

  • Completed university degree in Computer Science, Technical Computer Science, or similar (Master/Diploma)

  • Several years of professional experience in C#/.NET development

  • Strong knowledge of WPF, MVVM, and desktop application architecture

  • Experience working in a team environment (code reviews, shared architecture)

  • Very good German (written and spoken) and good English

  • Ability to explain technical topics clearly and reliably capture requirements
