Description

You will work directly with insurance business units to design and build production-ready AI and automation solutions end to end. You own the problem, the architecture, and the technical and business outcome—turning business needs into working systems rather than handing off specifications. Responsibilities include building LLM-based workflows such as RAG systems, agentic pipelines, automations, and domain-specific models, and helping shape an internal AI strategy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver AI projects end to end: problem definition, architecture, development, and production operations

• Develop production-ready AI systems including LLM-based workflows, RAG systems, agentic pipelines, automations, and domain-specific models

• Collaborate with business units (sales operations, claims handling, underwriting, finance) and managing directors

• Translate business problems into working solutions and explain technical solutions in business terms

• Contribute to AI strategy by building an internal AI culture and knowledge base

Requirements

• Degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, a comparable field, or equivalent practical experience

• Solid experience building and deploying AI/ML systems in production environments

• Hands-on experience with LLMs: prompt engineering, fine-tuning, evaluation, RAG, and agentic systems

• Ability to quickly learn new domains and build projects under uncertainty

• Entrepreneurial mindset and strong communication skills with senior stakeholders

• Excellent English skills; professional German is a plus
