Description

Build and continuously improve AI-enabled game features end-to-end, translating product ideas into technical proposals and delivering through frontend, backend, deployment, and monitoring. Experiment pragmatically with the latest AI tools and models, using AI agents from initial setup through ongoing adaptation while defining evaluation and quality guardrails. Own scalable, performance-oriented system architectures and maintain the codebase through refactoring and automation of build/test/deploy processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop game features full-stack: idea → frontend/backend → deployment and monitoring

• Use AI agents throughout the lifecycle (setup to ongoing tuning) with independent, outcome-focused evaluation of tools

• Design and implement test and evaluation strategies, especially where AI agents impact product quality

• Translate game concepts into technical approaches

• Collaborate closely with designers and product managers, bringing technical and user-centered judgment early

• Create and maintain system architectures that scale to millions of players across platforms

• Maintain and improve the codebase via refactoring and clear structure

• Automate build, test, and deployment; assess release risks proactively

• Share technical learnings and continuously upskill

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience building complex web- and cloud-based products

• Mastery of at least one established programming language at a very high level; ability to transfer engineering principles to new technologies and frameworks

• Proactive evaluation mindset for new tools and AI models, considering constraints and risks

• Strong communication skills in German and English

• Experience sharing and receiving feedback respectfully

• Curiosity to understand products holistically from a user perspective

• Willingness to work with the team in the Bad Nauheim office multiple times per week

• Experience with at least one: Vue.js, Flutter, Dart, Unity and/or native iOS/Android app development
