Description

You will join an international project delivering and maintaining banking IT systems. The role includes technical analysis and design, supporting testing via troubleshooting and defect resolution, and implementing user stories. At the Senior level, you will also mentor and support less experienced team members.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Owner, Business Analyst, and Architect
• Ensure daily functioning and governance of systems
• Prepare technical analyses, technical designs, and tests for user stories and reported bugs
• Support the testing process through troubleshooting and resolving defects
• Analyze new user stories and assess technical feasibility and implementation approach
• Deliver complex development tasks and, at Senior level, provide support and mentoring

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, and MQ
• Knowledge of tools: IBM Developer for z/OS (IDz), PUMA, Git, Bitbucket, Jira, ServiceNow
• Ability to independently complete complex technical tasks
• Experience working in a team and sharing knowledge
• Higher education (preferably IT/computer science related)
• Very good command of English (spoken and written)
