Description

Build and run multi-tenant SaaS cloud applications as part of a cloud transition from on-premise components to modern cloud architecture. Implement high-throughput backend services and distributed systems for seamless data flow across Cloud, On-Premise, and Edge layers, while writing scalable, maintainable code. Operate with a You Build It, You Run It culture with end-to-end ownership, and occasionally dive into frontend (React) to deliver complete features.

Responsibilities

• Drive the cloud transition with hands-on building and running of multi-tenant SaaS applications
• Implement highly complex, high-throughput backend services and distributed systems
• Ensure seamless data flow across Cloud, On-Premise, and Edge layers
• Write and maintain sharp, scalable, maintainable code; help set and maintain highest engineering standards
• Take full end-to-end ownership: technical design, backend coding, automated deployment, production monitoring
• Collaborate with senior peers across MSI and D-Fend to leverage expertise and unblock technical challenges

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience; comfortable in dynamic environments and able to make quick, pragmatic technical decisions while collaborating effectively
• Expertise in Node.js and TypeScript (e.g., NestJS or Express) with strong hands-on coding and clean, scalable code
• Strong experience building event-driven microservices in AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Cloud observability experience: metrics, distributed tracing, structured logging
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Practical experience with React or strong willingness to touch frontend to deliver end-to-end features
