Description

Embrace real ownership: act as the business owner for analytics and reporting, translating messy business questions into clear data and reporting requirements. Move GBCC reporting from fragmented one-off spreadsheets into a single, trusted analytics platform, while partnering with IT/data platform teams and cross-functional SMEs.

Responsibilities

Own the analytics agenda

• Translate business questions into clear data and reporting requirements
• Own intake, scoping, sequencing, and readiness decisions (IT owns how data is sourced/engineered)
• Define, validate, and document reporting logic, KPI definitions, and dataset relationships

Build and enable

• Merge and combine datasets to answer end-to-end billing, credit, and collections questions
• Guide SMEs to use IT-provided datasets and reporting tools correctly; review for accuracy and consistency
• Validate sources, challenge inconsistencies, and design for scale to maintain reporting integrity

Lead through change

• Participate in concurrent migrations across BI/reporting tools, systems/platforms, and datasets
• Keep reporting aligned and continuous as tools/systems evolve; help stakeholders adapt
• Align stakeholders on trade-offs, dependencies, and impacts when priorities shift

Partner across the business

• Work with IT and data platform teams, GBCC SMEs, and external delivery partners
• Communicate across geographies and audiences, from analysts to executives

Requirements

• Strong SQL: explore, validate, and reason about data independently
• Understand data structures, joins, and keys; how datasets connect
• Hands-on with Oracle (Fusion/EBS) data structures and business process support
• Hands-on with Salesforce (SFDC) data structures and business process support
• Experience with cloud analytics platforms (GCP/BigQuery strong plus)
• Experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau)
