Description

The District Manager provides overall vision, planning, direction, and control for assigned units within a geographic district. The role is accountable for executing the General Management program, delivering on financial commitments and key success measures including Revenue Growth, EBIT, Margin, Consumer Satisfaction, Client Loyalty, and Employee Engagement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Own operational management and financial performance for multiple accounts/units; model safety, quality, and service excellence; coach and mentor employees; reward and recognize; identify and develop top talent; plan and lead team meetings; ensure safety and sanitation standards

  • Client Relationship: Build and maintain client/customer rapport; identify client needs and communicate progress; understand contractual obligations and leverage opportunities; support new business and retention; ensure completion of customer satisfaction surveys at all locations

  • Financial Performance: Build revenue and manage budget with cost sensitivity; complete and maintain district P&L statements; oversee performance and use Aramark systems to deliver targets; analyze performance metrics and trends (data, orders, inventory) and educate teams on margin levers

  • Productivity: Implement and maintain corporate management agenda for labor and financial initiatives; ensure value via efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management; ensure consistent application of operating standards/processes (Operational Excellence) focused on efficiency; understand end-to-end supply chain and procurement and ensure only authorized suppliers are used

  • Compliance: Ensure safe and healthy environments; follow all applicable policies and regulations, including safety, health, and wage and hour
