Description

As a Technical Leader / System Architect, you will design the architecture of a new system built using a microservices approach and set the technological direction of the solution. The role includes building the solution from scratch and driving architectural decisions with real impact on the product direction.

Responsibilities

  • Design the architecture of the new system and create technical documentation
  • Build the solution from scratch in distributed microservices architecture
  • Prepare feasibility analyses and architectural recommendations
  • Define technology standards and ensure code quality
  • Estimate architectural and developer effort
  • Conduct code reviews and provide mentoring to the team
  • Collaborate with analysts, the Product Owner, and developers to deliver the product roadmap
  • Oversee security, performance, and system reliability
  • Support the team during development, deployments, and stabilization

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience designing and supervising system architecture
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the insurance industry (preferred: claims/szkodowa domain)
  • Very good knowledge of Java and Spring
  • Experience designing scalable distributed architectures
  • Very good knowledge of architectural patterns and integration practices
  • Experience working with cloud solutions and infrastructure automation
  • Ability to perform code reviews, mentoring, and architectural workshops
  • Experience creating technology roadmaps and analyzing risks
  • Practical knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Event-Driven Architecture, API Governance, Observability end-to-end
  • English at least B2
  • Availability for hybrid work in Warsaw (3 days in office per week)
