Description

Regular SQL Server / BI Developer will join a team responsible for designing and developing analytical solutions and data warehouses. The person will create ETL processes, develop data marts, and prepare data models used in Power BI reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Data Marts for Power BI
• Build and develop ETL processes in SSIS
• Design data structures for reporting and analysis
• Optimize performance of T-SQL queries and data models
• Collaborate with BI teams, analysts, and architecture
• Ensure data quality and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

• Very good knowledge of MS SQL Server (2016+)
• Advanced skill in writing T-SQL queries
• Experience optimizing queries (execution plans, indexes, partitioning)
• Ability to create stored procedures, views, functions, SQL Agent jobs
• Experience designing and developing ETL processes in SSIS
• Knowledge of SSIS Data Flow, Control Flow, error handling, and logging
• Experience with Incremental Load and CDC
• Ability to integrate data from SQL databases and CSV/Excel files
• Very good knowledge of Data Warehouse / Data Mart modeling (star schema)
• Experience designing fact and dimension tables and working with SCD and surrogate keys
• Experience with SSAS Tabular, Azure Analysis Services, or Power BI Dataset
• Basic knowledge of DAX and creating tabular models
• Analytical thinking and ability to independently design solutions
• Good communication and ability to cooperate with business and BI teams
