Description

Appalachian Regional Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Dermatologist to join their growing medical staff in Hazard, Kentucky. This is an opportunity to lead and expand dermatology services in a medically underserved region offering excellent patient volume, clinical autonomy, and support of a large integrated health system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat a wide variety of dermatologic conditions in both adult and pediatric populations
  • Perform skin biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and other in-office dermatologic procedures
  • Manage general dermatology and cosmetic interests based on clinical passion and community need
  • Collaborate with primary care, oncology, pathology, and surgical teams within the ARH network
  • Maintain a structured outpatient schedule

Candidate Profile

  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Dermatology
  • Strong interest in general dermatology; cosmetics optional but welcome
  • Committed to patient-centered care and service in rural communities
  • Team-oriented, collaborative, and adaptable to a diverse clinical setting
