Description

As a Senior Knowledge Graph Platform Engineer, you will design, build, and operate advanced Knowledge Graph capabilities across the organization, leveraging LPG and RDF ecosystems, cloud platform engineering, and AI-enabled retrieval and reasoning techniques.

Your main responsibilities

  • Architect, build, and maintain end-to-end graph platform lifecycle (design, deployment, operational excellence)
  • Create and optimize graph data models based on LPG and RDF standards, including ontology and schema governance
  • Develop and manage production-grade ingestion pipelines (batch and streaming), ensuring data quality and lineage practices
  • Ensure high availability, security, and observability of the platform on GCP, adhering to SRE best practices
  • Define engineering standards for performance tuning, query optimization, scalability, and cost control
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, data, architecture, security) to deliver reusable graph platform services
  • Implement AI-powered retrieval and reasoning workflows using LLMs, RAG, and GraphRAG for real-world business use cases

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in database and data platform engineering with a focus on graph database implementation
  • Proven expertise working with LPG stack: Cypher/Gremlin, Neo4j, FalkorDB, JanusGraph, or similar platforms
  • Hands-on experience with RDF stack: SPARQL, GraphDB, Stardog, Blazegraph, Neptune RDF, or similar
  • Deep understanding of graph standards and modeling including RDF, RDFS, OWL, SHACL, and ontology governance
  • Practical experience delivering solutions on GCP (GKE, Cloud Run, Dataflow, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM, monitoring)
  • Experience integrating LLMs into enterprise systems, with proficiency in embeddings, vector/hybrid retrieval, GraphRAG workflows
  • Strong software engineering skills in Python, Java, Scala, or Node.js, including API development, CI/CD, and IaC
  • Good command of English — communicative proficiency
  • Eligibility to work in Europe: existing legal right to work in the European Union
