Description

You will lead work on high-throughput streaming infrastructure that collects, forwards, and performs real-time computation on billions of behavioral events. The platform ingests clickstream, product interaction, and transactional data into the system that powers an AI agent product for marketers, scaling to handle millions of messages per second with single-second end-to-end latency. You’ll solve greenfield problems such as preserving <1s end-to-end latency at >1,000,000 messages/second, improving caching strategies for an online computation service, architecting message deduplication at >1,000,000 messages/second, and creating patterns for zero-downtime deployments.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver projects from start to finish
• Work directly with customers to solve the hardest scaling problems
• Lead and mentor other engineers
• Have significant influence over the technical roadmap

Requirements

• Experienced engineer passionate about hard technical problems that generate real customer value
• High ownership and comfort in a fast-paced startup environment
• Experience leading highly complex and ambitious projects
• Mentoring experience to up-level other engineers
• Experience architecting, building, deploying, and maintaining distributed systems at scale
• Ability to broadcast and encourage technical excellence
• Strong opinions about how engineering should be done and scaling a rapidly growing engineering team

Benefits

• Base salary range: $180,000 - $400,000 USD per year
