Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a System Engineer (Senior role: 6+ years)
  • Expert knowledge of IBM DOORS for requirements management (essential)
  • DOORS DXL scripting experience
  • Proficiency with SysML and UML for model-based systems engineering
  • Experience with Enterprise Architect, Capella, or MSOSA (Cameo)
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace/defence standards: ARP-4754, DO-178C, DO-254, DO-160, MIL-STD, Def Stan
  • Experience with V-Model lifecycle processes
  • System Architecture & Design expertise
  • Advanced Requirements Analysis & Management skills
  • Verification & Validation (V&V) process experience
  • System Integration methodologies (software/hardware)
  • Familiarity with embedded systems (C++, Python)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes and automation
  • Understanding of Cloud Technologies (Containers, Orchestrators, Hypervisors)
  • VMware / Virtualization technologies knowledge
  • Strong documentation and operational procedure adherence
  • Polish – Fluent / Native
  • English – C1 (professional working proficiency)

Mandatory formal requirements

  • Willingness to undergo mandatory personal security clearance verification up to NATO Secret level
  • Willingness to undergo mandatory background checks for defence-related work
  • Ability to work on-site at Wrocław office (hybrid work possible, full on-site when required by security)
  • Background check clearance required

Main responsibilities

  • Design and define system architecture for complex defence/aerospace systems
  • Manage and analyze system requirements
  • Conduct verification, validation, and testing activities (IVVQ)
  • Integrate software, hardware, and system components
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
  • Support design reviews and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Perform system analysis and conduct trade studies
  • Resolve complex technical challenges in system engineering
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (ARP-4754, DO-178C, MIL-STD)
  • Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches using SysML/UML
